Next Evaluation
After bringing the seeds back indoors and after 20 minutes of waiting, I took pictures of them again to see how they are dealing with coming right back into a room temperature environment from below freezing light.

Overall consensus of switching to Yard for light instead of Window
In all reality, the freezing cold temps coming in my window just means that its going to be colder in my area inside and I am outside doing a lot of work in the winter. That’s the only reason I would skip window light because it’s definitely a pain to deal with carrying the pots in and out every day vs a permanent place where they can adequately grow like a greenhouse.
In my personal opinion, from today studying the onions I noticed that bringing them back into the heat definitely made them softer and have the stems of the seedlings move closer to the soil. This might not mean too much, but at the end of the day I am trying to consider whether or not to put them outside for higher light emissions or get a grow light to have in a mini space.
